white earlobes,

At the plantation
with rows of sawit

over in Teluk Intan
really a venture of true grit

It's the scale of investment
so large, scare me off earlier on
but as we scrutinise the business plan
the new adventure is just a slight deviation

There are other things within the plantation
thriving within the rows of palms
there are ferns and orchids
some i had never seen

and they are birds too
either small or large
and I love the sight of white earlobes
we call them ayam hutan.

I love the scene around the other home
with space so big, with trees so tall

and a little stream passing through
with water so cold and clear,
I can see little fish swimming through
and always dragonflies will dart on repeated moves

I have seen that large bird many times
Lienn and rienn loves the sight
very beaky, very loud.

and over there
i will be the only cook
during occasional weekend retreats
the other three can rest and enjoy...
wrapped in sights and sounds.
sweet and angelic.
