as both have their own distinctiveness
on tempo and melody

when they talk

Now i am growing up
with them, on a different tempo
within functionality......

Haze

it's getting bad lately, sky is clear but we can see far, its hazy, its blurry. Kids will suffer in such weather condition if they play too long outside.

A fate, a healer

Even when fate comes in shadowy figure

healer.  love and care

We are here to race or snail or succumb
As the child is down with fever
with rising temperature pushing its range
and the skin turn red and red

It calls for mom and dad to stay awake
to do whatever possible to reduce the range
a tug of war of care and raging fate
as mom look with concern and tears flowing in
as mom wipe and wipe with purest white cloth
with water, god given healer........

and to you dearest
if ever eliss down with fever
wiping with water, it's god given healer

Crying child.

Crying is a signal provided by nature that is meant to disturb the parents so that the child's needs will be met. Ignoring a child's cries is like ignoring the warning signal of a smoke detector because we find it disturbing. 

This signal is meant to disturb us so that we can attend to an important matter. Only a deaf person would ignore a smoke detector, yet many parents turn a deaf ear to a child's cries. Crying, like the loud detector sound, is meant to capture our attention so that we can attend to the important needs of the child. It just makes no sense to think that nature would have provided all children with a routinely used signal that serves no good purpose.

Ummi imposing her standard

It's a slow process
that can easily go unnoticed
how a child is moulded
about boundaries
about orderliness
about good behaviour
and for most about self esteem.

and I do notice
how ummi is imposing her standards
on our two little girls.
